A New Kind of Recovery—
Because Healing Should Feel Alive

More than seventeen years ago, Christopher Dickie began his own journey of recovery. He fought his way through the darkness of addiction and found healing, but along the way, he saw a troubling pattern—treatment centers were stuck in the past.

The same old approach: clients sitting in chairs for hours, listening but not engaging. People were being treated, but not truly empowered. He saw individuals desperate for change, yet disconnected from the process. Something was missing.

Christopher knew recovery could be so much more than just sitting in a room talking about challenges without a good handle on solutions. He believed in the science of transformation—the idea that motion creates emotion—that the way we move and engage with the world can completely shift the way we think and feel.

"Recovery isn’t just about stopping—it’s about rebuilding. I wanted to create a place where people don’t just survive addiction, but truly come alive. At Peak State Recovery, we believe movement creates emotion, and when people move, they heal. This is more than a treatment center—it’s a place where lives are reignited."

A Life-Changing Moment

Everything changed when Christopher and his wife, Nicole, attended a personal empowerment event. The energy in the room was electric. People weren’t just listening—they were moving, engaging, experiencing transformation in real-time. The power of motion, momentum, and mindset shifts hit him hard.

He walked away from that event knowing this is what recovery needed.

A space that doesn’t just treat addiction but reignites life.
A program that awakens people instead of making them sit still.
A center where healing is active, engaging, and deeply personal.

And so, Peak State Recovery was born.

Built to Break the Mold

At Peak State Recovery, we don’t believe in the old model of recovery. We believe in movement, momentum, and mindset.

Our program fuses evidence-based therapies with powerful wellness techniques that engage both the mind and body, fueling the spirit for life long recovery. From trauma-informed therapy, breathwork, and guided visualization to movement-based healing, interactive workshops, and cutting-edge wellness practices, we designed Peak State to be different—because true healing isn’t passive, it’s active.

We believe that when people move, they feel—and when they feel, they heal.
